RCMP Gang Task Force Officer Involved In DUI

The beleaguered B.C. RCMP took another public-relations hit Sunday when an off-duty Mountie crashed in a suspected alcohol-related incident. The RCMP gang task force officer, driving a silver Mazda, crashed into a barrier along Highway 1 near 160th Street overpass in Surrey just before 11pm. She allegedly had too much to drink. (…..) (….)The incident follows recent allegations against high-ranking officers of sexual assault revealed by former and current female Mounties in B.C. and Ontario, the botched Robert Pickton investigation now the subject of a public inquiry, and the cocaine theft charge against Merritt RCMP commander Stuart Seib earlier this month.
